When a firefighter dies in the line-of-duty, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) provides support to their families through scholarships, peer support, wellness conferences, kids camps, and so much more. On November 30, 2021, the NFFF kicked off its holiday season of giving with #FireHeroTuesday. Through the generous support of The Presto Foundation every donation made by December 31st will be matched (up to $35,000).
“The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is grateful to The Presto Foundation for supporting the mission of the NFFF. Together, with you, our donors, and The Presto Foundation, we will continue to provide for the needs of the families of the fallen,” said Chief Ronald Siarnicki, Executive Director of the NFFF. “These donations will be used to fund kids’ camps, the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, and many more programs specially designed for the families of our brave men and women who sacrificed their lives serving their communities.
During this season of giving, your donation will make twice the difference. Every dollar given to the NFFF goes directly towards supporting programs, honoring and remembering America’s fallen firefighters, assisting their families in rebuilding their lives, and working with the fire service community in preventing firefighter deaths and injuries.
