Bradley S. Pierce‚ 27‚ career firefighter/paramedic with St. Charles Fire Department‚ died on August 6‚ 2000‚ while training as part of the department’s health and wellness program. Known as ‘Moose’ to his coworkers‚ Pierce was a member of his department’s Firefighter Combat Challenge Team in 1999 and 2000.
