Pepco on the Walk of Honor®: Honoring a Public Safety Partnership in Action
On Monday, November 14, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was humbled to unveil Section 52 — the latest addition to the Walk of Honor®. This new span on the walkway was made possible by the Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) Emergency Services Partnership Program.
Remembering New York City’s 23rd Street Fire
Twelve FDNY firefighters died as a result of the 23rd Street fire on October 17, 1966.

America’s fallen fire heroes, who died in the line of duty, were honored at the 41st Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend on October 8-9, 2022. The names of 148 firefighters became a permanent part of the National Memorial in honor of their sacrifices.
