Fun-loving Allan Mac Marriott was the top responder for his fire district for 5 consecutive years. He spent 23 years in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter‚ and won many awards in those years.

His Fire Department‚ his job‚ and‚ mostly‚ his family were his passions.

Mac would usually be among the first on any scene or would man the station so others could respond quickly.

At his job as water quality manager he loved interacting with people and always did outstanding work.

His family brought him the most joy; time with them was a treasure to Mac. He loved being a husband and Daddy. He would often surprise them with gifts of love- a single red rose placed in his wife’s car‚ trinkets for the girls just because. As his girls grew‚ so did his family and he was thrilled to become a grandpa.

Mac was born and raised in Port Townsend and he never hesitated to give back to his community. Besides the fire service he was involved in the fair‚ and an as assistant coaching little league for his daughter‚ in Christmas for Children‚ and in foster parenting.

We all miss Mac very dearly.
