Chief Allen W. Wright was a 29 year veteran of the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department. He was honored as Fireman of the Year multiple times over his career and served as a dispatcher for the Hollywood Police Department. Chief Wright also served as a member of the Hollywood Town Council and was Secretary of the Jackson County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments. Chief Wright was a loving Husband‚ Father‚ Grandfather‚ and an all-around modern day hero. He will be forever missed by all and never forgotten. Chief Wright is survived by his wife‚ a son and daughter‚ and two granddaughters.
