Battalion Chief Arthur S. Lakiotes, age 75, of the Fire Department City of New York – Battalion 32, died on October 23, 2021, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

He was born on August 27, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Nicholas and the late Nancy (Trupia) Lakiotes.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Tolson) Lakiotes, the cherished father of Jonathan Lakiotes (Gina Rizzi) and Nicholas Lakiotes (Stacey), dear brother of James Lakiotes, and adored grandfather to Kaitlyn, Zachary, Jack, and Chloe.
