Bobby Wade Mosby

Bobby Wade Mosby was born in Greenville, Kentucky, on July 30, 1971. He was a truck driver for Teamsters Local Union 215. He had a large helping hand in starting the Nelson Creek Volunteer Fire Department, where he dedicated 32 years of service and was captain of Engine 83.

He was a devoted and loving family man, leaving behind his wife of 33 years, Kathy Mosby; daughters, Amber Geary and Kendra Mosby; grandchildren, Emily Geary, Brooklynn Geary, Ava Geary, Alivia Higgs, and Dalton Geary; mother, Sylvia Fraze; sister, Lisa Nelson; and many other beloved family and friends.

He loved to enjoy many outdoor activities. You could find him hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, watching dirt track races, or just sitting around a fire. He was often known to be the life of the party, so most Friday nights you could find him having a drink in the garage with his buddies. He also enjoyed going on little vacations to the Smoky Mountains or Nashville. He was just an all-around simple man.

He was always dedicated to his family and friends and to helping others. He leaves a huge hole in the lives of everyone that knew him, and life will never be the same without him, but we find peace in knowing just how much he loved us all. He never failed to show that.
