Bruce was my cousin and I was a year older than him. We were always doing things together, like working on our grandfather’s farm and riding our motorcycles. His Dad, Burdette Rhinehart, was a member of the Jamestown Fire Department and our grandfather served with the Fluvanna Volunteer Fire Department. Bruce had a wife, a son and three daughters. I miss him very much, he was more than a cousin, he was my best friend.
