While responding to a call on July 4th 1955, the firetruck was struck by a police vehicle also responding to a call. Charles Frost and Francis LaForce were two firefighters on the back of the truck that were seriously injured and died the next day.

My great uncle….used to take me to the station with him when I was a small child…..Always wanted to be a firefighter, but women weren’t allowed…..Became a volunteer in the early 90’s and got Firefighter I ….was a call firefighter on a paid department in the 2000’s….Thanks uncle Al…..
