David C. Pawley

Sgt. David Pawley was a dedicated and passionate fireman. He courageously served the city of Louisville, retiring after 20 years of service. He received several Medal of Merit and Medal of Valor awards for his heroism.

He continued his firefighting career with the Kentucky Air National Guard (Louisville base) and Leitchfield Fire Department in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

David was an adoring, proud, loving, and supportive dad to his daughter, Meredith, and son, Cameron. He was a dedicated husband to his wife of almost 22 years, Holli. He was a loving son to Geneva and Larry; oldest brother to Steve (Lisa), Jennifer (Glenn), and Jeremy (Melissa); and a loving uncle to 14 nieces and nephews.

His firefighting legacy will live on. His name will never be forgotten!
