He was a member of the Brooken Volunteer Fire Dept. He served in the SEABEES. Dad was a very caring individual and was there to help anyone and everyone.

Dad had a special way of enjoying the miracles in life. He took and held each day as a special gift from God. Before his daughter Kathleen passed away in 1976 she wrote the epitaph which was engraved on her tombstone The Lord reached down from Heaven and took hold of me‚ and now the Lord has taken Dad to be with Kathleen.

He is survived by two sons‚ Donald Conner Jr. and wife Kimberly Conner of Arizona and Michael Conner of California. He is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
