Gary served actively as a member of the Medina Lake Volunteer Fire Department for fifteen years. He was a member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church where he served on the Vestry‚ sang in the choir‚ and was Acolyte Sponsor.

He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather–a caring man always quick to serve the needs of others. He is survived by his wife‚ Mary Ellen; daughter Merydwen Peschel and husband Greg Peschel and their sons Ethan and Evan; and daughter Seanna Roysden and her husband Christopher Roysden and their daughter Elizabeth.
