Gregg became a firefighter in 1998 at the age of 32. A selfless, dedicated, caring, and kind family man, he made an amazing firefighter. He brought an energy into his firehouse, Engine 308, in Queens, that has left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.
Gregg was also a boat mechanic who loved to be out on the water whenever he could.
Gregg was a devoted and loving father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Anyone who knows him has a positive story or memory of him. He was a lover of sports, especially football and hockey. The Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Flyers were his favorite teams to watch and support.
Gregg served in the rescue and recovery efforts at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001, and for months after. He was diagnosed with 9/11-related cancer and passed away at home on September 17, 2022.
He is deeply missed every single day by his wife, three daughters, and all his family and friends.
