James A. ‘Jim’ Reavis‚ 69‚ a volunteer captain with the North Stone NE Barry County Fire District‚ died on October 26‚ 2000‚ of a heart attack en route to the firehouse for additional equipment for a house fire. He was a veteran of the Korean War and also served as a Deputy Sheriff for 25 years.
