James Lynn Davidson

Pilot James Lynn Davidson, age 28, of Arizona Helicopters died on July 5, 1976, in a helicopter crash during the Kings Canyon Fire in Carson City, Nevada.

He was a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army who served during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife C. Jonette Davidson; son, Bryan; daughter Gabrielle; his parents; and several siblings.

This firefighter line of duty fatality occurred before the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial was built in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
