Lieutenant Killiam responded to a dwelling fire at 3202 Hudson Street, when the flooring collapsed. Tragically, when Lieutenant John T.Killian (Engine Co.No.51) was rescued,he was unresponsive and not breathing. He was transported to Francis Scott Key Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Lieutenant John Thomas Killian,Jr., was 51 years old and had served for 26 years.
