Joseph Agnello‚ 35‚ firefighter‚ FDNY‚ Ladder 118. Off the job‚ he devoted his time to his wife‚ his two sons‚ and his dogs. Described by friends and family as quiet and confident‚ Agnello ‘never needed to talk about himself…never wanted material possessions.’ He enjoyed skiing and snowboarding with friends and being with his family.

  1. On September 10th, 2016 I had the honor to run in the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5k in Clearwater, FL in the memory of Firefighter Joseph Agnello. As a daughter of a St. Petersburg Firefighter and a wife of a Seminole Firefighter, my heart goes out to his family and friends. I hope they know he is a hero to all and will never be forgotten. May God Bless our firefighters and all first responders.

We also delivered the NY Post together, We played on the same neighborhood football & softball team representing Ave X & P. S. 206. Joseph was a great friend & a role model to family &: friends.   26. On September 15, 2019 serving as a Booth Volunteer Firefighter in Alabama I participated in the 8th Annual Alabama Remembers 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Montgomery Alabama. I had the privilege to wear a tag clipped to my bunker gear with the picture and name of Joseph Agnello, Firefighter, Ladder 118. I will never forget his fearless courage and ultimate sacrifice.
