Joseph Donald Farrell answered his final call during a fire in an apartment complex on the evening of March 19, 1991 in Bayport, NY. He was the first Firefighter in the Bayport Fire Dept. to pay the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Born in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Served his 3 year enlistment in the United States Navy during WWII in the pacific theater aboard the USS Alhena (AKA-9). Beloved Husband, Uncle, Father and Grandfather. Rest in Power.
