Marvin L. Huisman‚ 56‚ a 30-year volunteer with the Wilmont Fire Department‚ died on October 7‚ 1999‚ at the scene of a brush fire. He had previously served as Chief for seven years and was Assistant Chief at the time of his death. Huisman owned a local livestock feed business for 35 years and had won many sales and service awards.
