Combined 26 years of service with Randoph‚ Champmanville‚ Centerville Volunteer Fire Departments before joining Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department.

He has served in the US Navy until his discharge in 1979.

He was a graduate of Randolph East Mead High School‚ class of 1976.

A Former American Red Cross First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Rresuscitation Instructor‚ a former American Red Cross Disaster Volunteer; and former member of the Board of Directors for the Titusville Chapter of the American Red Cross; a current member of the American Heart Association CPR Instructor; a current member and Rescue Captain. A State Certified Emergency Medical Technician with both Centerville and Hydetown Volunteer Fire Departments. He has served as an EMT since 1980.

He is survived by his parents‚ Sherman A and Esther Dunlap of Meadville‚ three sons‚ Andrew‚ Kenneth‚ and Delbert Dunlap. A granddaughter‚ Anastasia Dunlap. Two brothers‚ James and Samuel Dunlap. Four sisters‚ Nancy Brown‚ Wilma Proper‚ Nina Gillette and Esther Allen.

He was preceded in death by a niece‚ Amy Slagle.

He dedicated his life in helping others. He’d go out of his way to help not only family members and friends‚ but the entire community.

Mike was known to drop anything he was doing to go to a fire call!
