Captain Michael Reedy, age 38, of the Roanoke Fire Department died on June 25, 2025, after a 48-hour shift during which he participated in strenuous physical training and his annual physical.
The National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus will be closed during the government shutdown, including access to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
