Airman First Class Monex Thomas of the Blytheville Air Force Base died in an aircraft training incident on August 1‚ 1982.

I was on the flight line the day of the accident. I was stationed at Blytheville. Didn’t know him personally. It was a training exercise. I hope and prayed for his family that day. I was in the 97th security forces.
