Firefighter Ollen Wynell “Shine” Cleveland, age 38, of the Dumas Fire Department, died on July 29, 1956, in an explosion during at the Shamrock Oil and Gas Company.

Ollen was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II.

He is survived by his wife Alta Mae and parents Walter and Donnie Cleveland.
