Firefighter Patrick John Lauro, age 72, of the Fire Department City of New York – Ladder 47, died on October 19, 2021, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

Patrick was a resident of Farmingdale, New York. He was a proud Vietnam veteran. He had a successful career with the FDNY and volunteered with the East Farmingdale Fire Department. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He was the beloved husband of Deborah Lauro.; cherished father of Heather Lauro, Kelly Lauro, and Tracy Harman (Scott); loving stepfather to Andrea Snyder (Tim), Raeanne Brazee (Chad), and Thomas LaSala (Laura); and doting grandfather to Darren, Gianna, Kayla, Owen, Chase, Thomas, Joseph, Aubree, Annabelle, Olivia, Jack, Madeline, Nora, June, and Lucas.
