I was two years old when 9/11 happened and have grown up wanting to be a firefighter. It was such a humbling experience and an honor to participate in the memorial climb. Lieutenant Martin along with all of the fallen were in my thoughts with every step. They sacrificed everything and I couldn’t be prouder to climb in their memory.

  6. I would like to say thanks to Lt. Peter C. Martin for all of his service. This brave man is also the courageous person who went in brought my daughter Ashley out of a fire one year before his death on 911. He tried his best to save her.
