Preston ‘Pat’ Edgar Patterson‚ 66‚ a volunteer firefighter with the Manchester Fire Engine and Hook and Ladder Company #1 died of cardiac arrest while directing traffic at a motor vehicle accident in Manchester on September 28‚ 1998. He was a lifetime member of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department and served in the fire police for 15 years.
