Robert E. Welsh, 47, was a 9/11 First Responder in the World Trade Center.
Robert was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He graduated from St. Peter’s High School and continued his education at the College of Staten Island and SUNY Empire State College.
He met the love of his life, Jennifer, in 1997, and for over 26 years they built a life together which includes raising three beautiful children, Mia, Maximus, and Nina.
Robert proudly worked as a police officer for the NYPD and for over 16 years as a firefighter for the FDNY in Engine 207. He also owned and operated a power washing company, Aquablast, and a handyman company, Welcoservices.
During his lifetime, he had many interests and achievements. He coached his kids’ Little League and football teams, along with volunteering his time with his daughter’s swim team. He was a volunteer and member of the school’s PTO. He was a talented carpenter and could always be counted on to help a friend out. He loved animals and had several dogs, chickens, and even purchased a baby pig for his loving wife.
Robert was one of a kind and was full of life, love, and laughter. He had the ability to make anyone laugh no matter what the situation was. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend.
