Lieutenant Robert J. Stegmeier, age 54, of the Fire Department City of New York – Ladder 127, died on February 16, 2012, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

He lived in Bohemia, New York.

He was the beloved father of R.J., Michael, and Alexa. He was also survived by the mother of his children, Annette Mina. He was the cherished brother of Edward (Carol), Marie Smith (Gary), and Ann Lynn (John), and a loving uncle to Jen, Tom, and Allison.
