Rodney was born on August 4, 1992, and raised in Baltimore City. He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. Rodney was baptized on May 18, 2023, accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He always dreamed of becoming a firefighter, and he finally got that chance and joined the academy, teaching us to never give up on our dreams.

Rodney was a young man with an old soul, with a kind and generous heart and spirit. He would selflessly do anything he could for others. To know Rodney was to love him; he had a smile that would light your heart. He had a sense of humor that would make you laugh or smile just by thinking of him. When you were down, he would crack a joke and make you laugh. He loved seeing people smile and laugh.

Rodney loved his Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He enjoyed playing sports with his uncles and tossing the ball with his son. He also enjoyed going camping and fishing with his family. Rodney enjoyed doing Daddy Daughter Day with his little princess. He also enjoyed playing card games with his mom and family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mom, Monica, and dad, Rodney Jr.; his two children, Arianna and Hendrix; grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.

Rodney heard the saying “Job well done” and departed this world on October 19, 2023, doing what he always wanted to do, being a firefighter. Rodney will live on in our hearts forever and shall never be forgotten.
