Fire Commissioner Steve Brockway, age 61, of the Piedmont Park Fire District died on September 6, 2021, from complications of COVID-19.
The National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus will be closed during the government shutdown, including access to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
