Thomas M. Fry, age 41, of the Kansas City Fire Department (MO), died on November 29, 1988, in an ammonium nitrate and fuel oil mixture explosion on U.S. Highway 71.

Tom was born in Kansas City and was a firefighter for the Kansas City Fire Department for 15 years. He was a member of Local 42 of the International Association of Fire Fighters. He was also  a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was survived by his daughter; mother and stepfather; two sisters; one stepbrother; and one stepsister.
