The area was being hit with heavy rain storms. Firefighter Thomas Weeks was responding to the firehouse for an emergency call in Webster Village, when his vehicle collided head on with another vehicle on Rt.161. Firefighter Weeks was transported to Harford Memorial Hospital where he died later that evening. Firefighter Thomas Weeks was 32 years old and had served for 4 years.
