Vincent E. Brunton‚ 43‚ captain‚ FDNY‚ Ladder 105 in Brooklyn. Brunton‚ known as Vinnie‚ received a medal for saving a handicapped woman from a fire in 1992. Because of his dedication to fire service training‚ Brunton’s name will be inscribed on a pillar of a new Fire Academy. Brunton’s brother Michael is also an FDNY firefighter.
Hello, Today, my son & I climbed the equivalent of 110 floors in honor of Vincent. I didn’t know who he was before this climb but his name is with me forever now.

On September 10, 2016 I did the 911 Memorial Stair Climb at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I did the climb for all of the fallen Firefighters, but on this date I did the climb for Captain Brunton. It was an honor and a privilege to climb for a fellow Captain that gave his live in the line of duty.
