Webster Robertson

Private Webster Robertson, Indianapolis Fire Department, Hose wagon #5 -died from his injuries after hose wagon #5 tipped over throwing him while responding to a box alarm. He was one of the Firefighters that went down with the walls of the Bowen-Merrill building nine years earlier.

This firefighter line of duty fatality occurred before the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial was built in Emmitsburg, Maryland. While this firefighter has not been officially honored at the Memorial site, there are plans to do so when resources are available.
