Cameron’s career goal is to become a firefighter and to continue to serve his community as his father did.
In high school, Cameron participated in Mock Trial and on the stage crew with the theater program. He became a junior firefighter at age 16 and continues to support his father’s fire department when he is home from school on breaks and during the summer. When possible, he has attended his local fire company’s meetings to learn more about being a firefighter.
In his recommendation letter, Firefighter Thomas Murray III (retired) cites Cameron’s curious nature and his efforts to always learn more and better himself. Deputy Chief Glenn Werner describes Cameron as determined and committed to giving back to others.
