Matt is pursuing an associate’s degree in an undecided field at this time but feels strongly that he will further his education by completing a degree giving him a stable career.

Matt was a part of the FBLA in his senior year of high school, hosted blood drives and volunteered with recycling programs. He was elected to the student council for his senior year, played sports and took part in the Spanish Club, Quiz bowl and volunteered at children’s basketball camps.

In a reference letter, Adam Matzner, Chief Investigator for the Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s office, describes Matt as one of the most heartfelt and kindest young men he’s had the pleasure of knowing. Matthew excelled in academics, athletics and will focus intently on his college studies with the goal of entering the work force.
