NFFF Partners with Columbia Southern University for Special Scholarship Opportunity

Share

For the third year, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) will be partnering with Columbia Southern University (CSU) to give away one scholarship in the amount of $12,600. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor a spouse or dependent of a fallen firefighter.

CSU has always supported the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Everyone Goes Home® program. The online university works closely with the NFFF to train and educate firefighters so that one day everyone really can return home safely. This scholarship is just one way that CSU and the NFFF hope to give back to those who have lost someone in the fire service industry.

The search for one deserving scholarship recipient begins January 1, 2016 and ends April 1. The scholarship will be awarded June 10, 2016.

The scholarship application will consist of three essay questions and will be voted on by a committee at CSU.

Columbia Southern University is an online university based in Orange Beach, Ala. The university serves approximately 30,000 active students in an array of degree programs at the associate, bachelor, and master levels. CSU strives to change and improve lives through higher education by enabling students to maximize their professional and personal potential.

If you have any questions or would like to apply, please contact the CSU scholarship liaison at [email protected].
